As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of residential interior projects in Manhattan. From coordinating subcontractors to ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the construction process.

Our client is a general contractor located in Manhattan specializing in high-end residential construction projects in Manhattan. With a commitment to excellence and a track record of delivering exquisite results, we are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team.

Description

• Manage day-to-day operations of residential construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to address concerns and facilitate decision-making.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process in a timely and efficient manner.

Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential construction as a Superintendent, with a background in managing projects in Manhattan is preferred
• Proven track record of successfully completing residential construction projects on time and within budget.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required
• Started their career in the trades is preferred.
