Product Manager - Roller Chains
A recognized leader in the design and manufacture of power transmission and motion control systems is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy, growth, and product lifecycle initiatives for its industrial roller chain portfolio across the Americas.

Its product portfolio includes roller chains, engineering class chains, cable carriers, sprockets, and related components used in manufacturing, automotive, food processing, and material handling applications. With operations across North and South America and global corporate ties, it delivers engineering-driven solutions with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and performance.
Description
- Lead product strategy for the industrial chain division, including development and execution of annual business plans based on market and competitive research.
- Support inside and outside sales teams by providing application guidance, product selection, and technical responses to customer inquiries.
- Lead pricing strategy development and day-to-day pricing guidance, including contract negotiation for high-value and strategic accounts.
- Drive the development and market launch of new products, collaborating with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to ensure successful commercialization.
- Provide hands-on product and application support through calls, emails, and site visits.
- Analyze product line profitability and cost structures; adjust strategies to meet sales and margin goals.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts and annual budgets; monitor and adjust projections on a monthly basis.
- Guide marketing strategy and tactical execution using digital, social, and traditional marketing channels to build brand awareness and support product demand.
- Additional duties as needed in support of product line success.
Profile
- Minimum 2 years in product management, technical sales, or application engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with industrial/mechanical components.
- Bachelor's degree required; technical or engineering discipline preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with pricing analysis, forecasting, and budget planning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Job Offer
- $90,000 - $130,000 base salary, pending experience
- Annual bonus, based on overall compny performance.
