Superintendent-K-12 Construction

We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent with strong experience overseeing K-12 educational construction projects to join a leading general contractor based in West Palm Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading on-site operations from groundbreaking through project closeout, ensuring top-tier safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Description

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specs, schedules, and safety standards

• Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders

• Lead daily site meetings and maintain accurate project documentation and reports

• Monitor quality control and manage resolution of field issues

• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety

• Maintain project schedule and provide progress updates to the Project Manager and executive team

• Collaborate with school administrators and district officials to minimize disruptions during active school periods

Profile

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up or renovation K-12 school projects

• Proven ability to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout

• Strong knowledge of local building codes, school board regulations, and public procurement processes

• Effective communicator and leader, able to manage subcontractors and coordinate with school district personnel

• Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms

• OSHA 30 certification preferred
