Description
Analyze and support construction strategies such as crane operation, formwork layout, erosion control, and site grading plans.
Create or revise sketches and diagrams to clarify construction details, communicate conditions to architects, and assist craft personnel (e.g., lift plans).
Ensure all on-site work complies with project drawings and specifications.
Manage and follow up on RFIs (Requests for Information), ensuring answers are communicated and correctly applied.
Take part in planning meetings, weekly coordination sessions, superintendent discussions, daily crew huddles, and foreman meetings.
Organize and lead pre-installation meetings with subcontractors, preparing agendas and ensuring participation from all relevant stakeholders.
Maintain delivery schedules and inspect materials upon arrival as needed by the Superintendent.
Support the project closeout process by managing punch lists and ensuring completion of outstanding tasks.
Profile
A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field-or a completed apprenticeship combined with four years of industry experience.
Excellent communication and writing abilities.
Proficiency in various software tools and a willingness to learn new platforms as needed.
A strong desire for career growth, with the mindset to take ownership and responsibility from day one.
