Sales Executive- Northeast - Power Generation
They're expanding into the Northeast U.S. and seeking a Territory Sales Manager to lead regional growth. This is an opportunity to own a highly active and relationship-driven territory in a niche, high-demand industry - with support from an experienced technical and operations team.
Client Details
Our client is a rapidly growing, privately held provider of commercial and industrial backup power solutions. With multiple facilities across North America, they specialize in the purchase, refurbishment, and sale of mission-critical equipment - including generators, ATS units, UPS systems, and HVAC infrastructure.
Description
Manage all sales activity across the Northeast territory, with a focus on new customer acquisition and solution-based selling
Sell refurbished and new commercial generators, transfer switches, UPS systems, and related infrastructure
Work with facility managers, contractors, property groups, and industrial end-users across verticals including healthcare, data centers, commercial real estate, manufacturing, and utilities
Develop relationships with customers and suppliers, identify available equipment, and create value through turnkey support and consultative sales
Collaborate with internal technical and logistics teams to ensure successful delivery and installation
Profile
3-10+ years of experience in industrial or capital equipment sales - power generation, HVAC, MEP, or electrical supply backgrounds are a plus
Strong regional familiarity across Northeast markets (NY/NJ/PA/MA/CT/RI/etc.)
Hands-on sales style with an ability to close complex, technical deals
Highly autonomous, proactive, and capable of building a book of business with minimal layers
Comfort working in a fast-paced, lean environment where sales, operations, and leadership collaborate daily
