VP, CECL / IFRS 9 Execution & Controls Lead
This role leads the delivery and ongoing enhancement of a centralised wholesale credit risk execution platform supporting stress testing, impairment, and capital frameworks. The position is responsible for translating regulatory and business requirements into scalable data, reporting, and analytics solutions used across senior management and regulatory reporting.

Description
- Lead end-to-end execution of a wholesale credit risk platform supporting stress testing and accounting regimes
- Ensure alignment and consistency across regulatory, finance, and management reporting views
- Own production, validation, and analysis of credit risk data, metrics, and reporting outputs
- Coordinate delivery of regulatory submissions, including stress testing schedules and recurring reporting requirements
- Support allowance and impairment disclosures under CECL and IFRS 9
- Partner with modelling and analytics teams to embed methodologies, scenarios, and assumptions into production processes
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to align risk outputs with financial statements and control frameworks
- Drive automation and strategic transformation initiatives to reduce manual processing and execution risk
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear specifications for data ingestion, calculation engines, and reporting layers
- Work with Technology teams to design scalable, well-governed data pipelines sourcing from authoritative systems
- Establish reconciliations across source systems, risk engines, finance outputs, and regulatory submissions
- Interpret regulatory guidance and supervisory feedback and ensure consistent implementation
- Maintain strong controls, data governance standards, and audit-ready documentation
- Act as a key contact for internal audit, regulatory exams, and senior stakeholders
Profile
8+ years of experience in wholesale credit risk, stress testing, regulatory reporting, or risk technology execution within a large financial institution
Strong working knowledge of CCAR, CECL, and IFRS 9 frameworks and their end-to-end execution
Experience supporting regulatory reporting deliverables (e.g. stress testing schedules and disclosures)
Solid understanding of wholesale credit products such as corporate lending, structured finance, trade finance, commercial real estate, and leveraged finance
Proven track record delivering or transforming large-scale data, reporting, or execution platforms
Strong understanding of data architecture, lineage, controls, and BCBS 239 principles
Hands-on experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL-based platforms, or similar)
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across Risk, Finance, Technology, and senior leadership
High attention to detail with a strong focus on controls, governance, and data quality
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
Job Offer
$145,000 - $195,000 base salary.
