Description
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of multifamily construction projects in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. You will assist the Project Manager in overseeing project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and client communication to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and contracts
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Track project progress, change orders, and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Support the Project Manager in client and stakeholder communication
- Help resolve project issues and maintain detailed project documentation
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning
Profile
- Experience: 3+ years in construction project management (multifamily preferred)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction scheduling software, budget tracking, and contract management
- Communication: Strong leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
