Construction Environmental Estimator
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in environmental estimating or a related role.
- Proven track record of estimating for environmental remediation, waste management, or similar projects.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for environmental projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Project Assessment: Analyze project scope, site conditions, technical reports, and regulatory requirements to determine project feasibility and costs.
- Proposal Preparation: Collaborate with the business development team to prepare competitive project proposals, including budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Vendor Coordination: Obtain and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and adherence to project requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all cost estimates and project plans comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Data Analysis: Conduct historical cost analysis and market research to support project costing strategies.
- Client Interaction: Assist in client meetings to present estimates, address questions, and provide recommendations for cost-effective project execution.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates, assumptions, and supporting data for future reference and auditing purposes.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in environmental estimating or a related role.
- Proven track record of estimating for environmental remediation, waste management, or similar projects.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., REVU Bluebeam).
- Knowledge of environmental regulations such as CERCLA, RCRA, and state-specific guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional, Estimating Professional) are a plus
