Description

My client is seeking an Senior Project Manager with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in commercial construction.

  • Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and handover, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and other key personnel, fostering collaboration and efficient workflow across all project phases.
  • Budget Management: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial performance while identifying areas for potential savings.
  • Scheduling: Create detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work complies with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes. Implement quality control measures and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including contingency planning and issue resolution throughout the project.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Address concerns and manage expectations.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring terms are fair and projects remain on budget.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed on-site. Stay updated with local, state, and federal construction regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and financial forecasts to senior leadership and clients

Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on interior projects.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors on large-scale commercial interior projects.
  • A track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • A commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
