My client are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Capital Markets to lead and scale development efforts from concept through delivery. You'll be responsible for securing capital funding on multiple urban infill and mid-sized multifamily projects throughout residential East Los Angeles, playing a central role in shaping the future of pipeline and brand

- Capital Raising: Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure equity investment for current and future multifamily development projects. Cultivate and manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors
- Debt Financing: Lead the process of securing competitive construction and permanent financing for development projects; manage lender relationships and reporting requirements.
- Project Pipeline Development: Identify, underwrite, and pursue new multifamily development opportunities, building a sustainable project pipeline.
- Development Oversight: Oversee the development phase for active projects, including site analysis, entitlement processing, design team coordination, consultant management, budgeting, scheduling, and securing necessary permits.
Profile
- Proven track record of successfully raising equity capital for real estate developments in Los Angeles, with an established network of relevant Los Angeles investors.
- Strong experience in sourcing, negotiating, and closing construction and permanent debt financing
- Knowledge of the LA development landscape, entitlement process, and permitting in urban neighbourhoods
- Passion for architecture, sustainability, and community-focused design
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage complex budgets and timelines
- A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude
