Director of Construction - Mechanical
This role is ideal for a senior construction leader with strong mechanical contracting expertise who thrives in managing teams, overseeing complex projects, and driving operational excellence. You will direct construction operations, ensure delivery quality, and support continued regional growth.

Description
- Oversee all construction operations, including planning, staffing, scheduling, and execution
- Lead project managers, field supervisors, and construction teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery
- Review project scopes, budgets, and estimates to confirm accuracy and alignment with client expectations
- Implement and refine construction processes, standards, and reporting systems
- Support preconstruction activities including design‑build reviews, value engineering, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive growth strategies within the construction division
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control measures
- Oversee resource allocation, equipment planning, and workforce scheduling across multiple projects
- Identify operational efficiencies and drive continuous improvement

Profile
A successful Director of Construction - Mechanical should have:
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial construction management
- Proven leadership background directing project managers and field teams
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis
- Deep understanding of commercial/industrial mechanical systems and construction methods
- Skilled at reading plans, specifications, and technical documentation
- Excellent communication, decision‑making, and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects in fast‑paced environments
- Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction
