Compliance Testing Consultant

This position focuses on monitoring and testing within BSA/AML. The focus of this role is to conduct ongoing monitoring and testing and adhere to all regulatory requirements.

Client Details

Our client is a correspondent Asian bank that is located in Midtown NYC. This corporation is one of the largest commercial banks and focus on commercial banking, investment banking and other financial services. Description

• Responsible for performing compliance testing of the bank's compliance controls to identify any issues and report recommendations (as needed)
• Responsible for developing test scripts to transcribe the scope of the findings and business expectations
• Working along side other lines of businesses to help resolve any controls and weaknesses within the bank
• Preparing reports for senior management
• Monitoring any regulatory activities and industry developments

Profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5+ years within financial services
• Prior Compliance testing experience
• ACAMS is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge with US Laws and Regulations
• Exposure to Corporate Banking and financial Institution businesses
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC
• Prior Compliance testing and/or audit experience
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Available for work and can be in the NYC office 5 days a week

Job Offer

This position offers the candidate to work 5 days on site with the legal and compliance department. The client is offering a competitive market hourly rate as well.
