The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial & Multifamily will support the successful execution of construction projects. This role involves assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely and efficient project delivery in Denver.

Client Details

This opportunity is with a small-sized company operating who specializes in office tenant improvements, hospitality projects (including in resort areas like Vail and Snowmass), and select multifamily developments. Their team is focused on high-quality execution, client relations, and sustainable growth. This group emphasizes accountability, integrity, and a hands-on approach to delivering projects.

Description

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Support project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all project sites.
  • Assist in managing project budgets and controlling costs to meet financial objectives.
  • Address project challenges and work collaboratively to implement solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.

Profile

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Commercial & Multifamily should have:

  • A background in construction management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with construction management software, Procore is ideal.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage project tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and project teams.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in handling project challenges.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
