Manufacturing Engineer - Metal Components - Lancaster County
This Manufacturing Engineer role focuses on developing and optimizing CNC machining processes while driving productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. You'll lead continuous improvement initiatives, support new product launches, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Description
- Designing, refining, and implementing manufacturing processes for CNC machining and related operations.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to boost productivity, minimize waste, and elevate product quality.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Providing hands-on technical support to production teams, troubleshooting equipment and process challenges.
- Leading continuous improvement projects, including lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
- Supporting new product launches through detailed manufacturing plans and process documentation.
- Analyzing production data to uncover opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Training and mentoring operators and technicians on best practices and process enhancements.
Profile
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent CNC experience.
- 3+ years of experience in CNC manufacturing, ideally within regulated industries (aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or defense).
- Strong knowledge of lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
- Hands-on expertise in CNC programming, tooling, and process optimization.
- Experience with quoting and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
