My client is a leading, global manufacturer of transmission components for the automotive & heavy vehicle industries. With increasing support from their corporate HQ, they plan to make big strides at their machine shop in WI, and are looking for an ambitious and skilled Manager to run the shop!
Description
- Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations with a hands-on leadership style
- Utilize ERP systems (such as SAP) to track production schedules and workflows
- Plan and coordinate production processes and job routing
- Oversee procurement of materials and manage inventory levels
- Supervise, mentor, and develop manufacturing staff
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve operational issues promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and deadlines
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
- Support capacity planning and facility utilization efforts
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Manage scheduling, work instructions, and resource allocation
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new manufacturing employees
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing management or related roles
- Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Office; experience with CAM software is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Offer
- Base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
- 3 Weeks PTO
