Client Details

Our client is a full service general Contracting company was founded over 125 years ago and has been handed down from generation to generation. They pride themselves in their community involved culture and massive volumes of repeat business. They build public and private projects including DPWs, Fire stations, Police Stations, Town Halls and other community structures ranging from $1M-$30M. They are looking to add a field Superintendent to their team to aid in their growing pipeline. They bid on projects weekly and have done about $50M in revenue this year and have a project pipeline and back log of $60M for 2024. Description

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent, ideally with a focus on Public/Private projects.
• Solid understanding of construction principles, methods, and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing diverse construction teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Valid construction-related certifications and licenses (CSL) required

Profile

The successful Construction Superintendent will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related field
• 5+ years as Construction Superintendent in Public/commercial construction or related projects
• Excellent analytic and mathematical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to interpret construction documents and blueprints
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and subcontractors
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills
• Holds a MA-CSL (required)
