IT Finance Consultant

We are seeking a highly capable and bilingual IT Finance Consultant to join our team. This role is pivotal in aligning financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes with IT initiatives, especially in supporting Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Our client provides a comprehensive range of financial services including corporate banking, personal banking, investment banking, asset management, insurance, and international trade finance.

Description

• Act as a liaison between Finance and IT departments, especially for projects involving Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Lead or support the implementation and optimization of financial systems (e.g., ERP, EPM, BI tools).
• Analyze financial workflows and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Translate business and financial requirements into functional system specifications in both English and Mandarin.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data models to support financial decision-making.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across finance systems and integrations.
• Manage or contribute to system upgrades, migrations, and process automations.
• Deliver training and support to finance users, including Mandarin-speaking teams.
• Stay informed of industry trends in finance and IT to provide innovative recommendations.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field (MBA or relevant certifications preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience in IT consulting, financial systems, or finance transformation roles.
• Experience working in a bilingual environment or with multinational teams.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written) - this is a mandatory requirement.
