Word Processor
This Naples based law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Word Processor to support their attorneys and staff with document creation and legal administrative This role will also serve as a backup to the Legal Secretary and requires prior legal experience.
Client Details
This firm is well established in both Florida and Connecticut and specializes in Trusts and Estates. Their Naples, FL office is a team of 30 staff and they are fully in office Monday through Friday.
Description
- Prepare, format, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proofread documents for grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency.
- Manage version control and ensure timely distribution of finalized documents.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and maintaining electronic and physical case files.
- Provide backup support to the Legal Secretary, including scheduling, billing, and client communication as needed.
- Coordinate with attorneys and staff to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
Profile
- Minimum 3-5 years of word processing experience in a law firm environment; trusts and estates experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and formatting.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under deadlines.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team-oriented with flexibility to step in where needed.
