Quality Manager - Aerospace - North Haven
A leading manufacturer of high-performance electronic wire and cable products is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee daily inspection operations, supervise and evaluate team performance, and maintain ISO and AS9100 compliance. Key responsibilities include managing incoming, in-process, and final inspections, training new hires, acting as a customer liaison on quality issues, and maintaining the approved supplier list.

Description
The Quality Control Manager will oversee all aspects of quality assurance and inspection processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising daily operations of incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Scheduling and evaluating the performance of hourly employees.
- Maintaining compliance with ISO and AS9100 standards.
- Acting as a liaison with customers on quality-related issues.
- Training new hires and supporting professional development.
- Managing and updating the approved supplier list.
- Performing and overseeing testing using measurement and test equipment.
- Assisting with equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience in quality management, with a focus on manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership skills to supervise and evaluate team performance effectively.
- Proficiency in ISO and AS9100 standards, with a track record of maintaining compliance.
