Description
The Chief Estimator - Top ENR Firm - K-12/Higher-Ed Projects in CT will be responsible for:
Lead all aspects of estimating for the vertical construction division, including bid strategy, scope review, takeoffs, pricing, and subcontractor relationships.
Coordinate with Preconstruction, Operations, and Executive teams to develop winning proposals and ensure seamless project transitions.
Manage and mentor a team of estimators while driving continuous improvement across systems, templates, and workflows.
Evaluate risk and constructability throughout the bid process, ensuring competitive, accurate, and compliant proposals.
Profile
The Chief Estimator - Top ENR Firm - K-12/Higher-Ed Projects in CT will possess:
12+ years of estimating experience in vertical building construction (K-12, Higher Ed, Healthcare, etc.).
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team while remaining hands-on with complex bids.
A detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, long-term-focused culture.
Experience working in CT and/or RI is preferred; familiarity with public bidding processes a plus.
Job Offer
The Construction Chief Estimator will receive:
- Compensation up to $200,000
- Annual Bonus
- up to 3 weeks PTO
