Project Manager -Municipal / K-12 Construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead K-12, public, and municipal construction projects based in Sunrise, Florida. This role will oversee projects throughout South Florida, managing all phases from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring compliance with public-sector requirements.

Description

• Manage all phases of K-12, public, and municipal construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.

• Coordinate with owners, school districts, municipalities, architects, and engineers.

• Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and contract administration.

• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.

• Ensure strict compliance with public procurement requirements, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

• Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders.

• Monitor jobsite progress and proactively address risks, delays, or cost impacts.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on K-12, public, or municipal construction projects in South Florida.

• Strong understanding of public-sector processes, including procurement, compliance, and reporting requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera, or MS Project.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within budget.
