Description
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of construction experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You'll assist in the management of commercial construction projects, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely completion.
The Assistant Project Manager - National GC - Ground-up Projects will have the following responsibilities:
- Maintain project documentation and reports (RFI, Submittal, Drawings).
- Track and update materials.
- Generate purchase orders and coordinate approvals with the Project Manager.
- Assist with schedule tracking and updates.
- Distribute project documents as needed.
- Conduct site visits as required and ensure all on-site activities align with project goals.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
Profile
The Assistant Project Manager - National GC - Ground-up Projects will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- 1-2 years of related construction experience or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Basic understanding of architectural design drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry-related software.
- Previous experience with ground-up concrete or parking garage construction is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Job Offer
The Assistant Project Manager - National GC - Ground-up Projects will receive the following:
- Competitive salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year
- Car allowance ($300/month)
