Project Manager, Vendor Risk Management
We are seeking a VRM Project Manager to join a regulatory implementation and enhancement project within the CIB Vendor Risk Management function, acting as the second line of defense. The ideal candidate will drive the project forward, support its ongoing development, and collaborate closely with the purchasing team, which serves as the first line of defense.

Description
- Support the VRM Regulatory Implementation & Enhancement project, presenting updates to Senior Management and ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and update policies, procedures, controls, metrics, and training materials for both lines of defense.
- Assist with ongoing monitoring, risk tracking, data analytics, control testing, and ad-hoc projects to support risk management efforts.
- Prepare and present reports on risks, controls, action plans, and project milestones to ensure effective risk management.
- Provide strategic guidance for the continuous improvement of VRM and purchasing functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
THIS POSITION IS BASED ONSITE IN NEW YORK CITY!
Profile
- Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in a corporate environment.
- Over 5 years of experience in Risk Management, preferably within Financial Services or other regulated industries, with a focus on Vendor Risk Management.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, with an emphasis on client service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with Vendor Risk Management tools (preferred) and fluency in French is a plus.
