My client is a local commercial contractor that specializes in multifamily and commercial projects throughout the Greater Sacramento Market. They believe the hallmark of their success is grounded in their dedication to consistently delivering their clients' projects on time and under budget, with honesty, integrity, and a great deal of emphasis on client satisfaction. While they are growing, they are backed financially by a global development firm to stabalize their growth.
Description
- Provide leadership and direction on commercial construction projects
- Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site and corporate staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
- Work with the Project team to develop a work plan, establish priorities and assign tasks
- Coordinate the preparation of the schedule and long term planning
- Implement, monitor, update and communicate the progress schedule and its periodic revisions
- Manage financial aspects of contracts: review and approve budgets, cost reports, rental equipment and expenses
- Perform the final review of internal items such as Cost Analysis, Monthly Billing, Master Cost Breakdown and Monthly Reports
- Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades and payments
- Create and maintain a safe/secure job site environment
- Review and approve drawings and samples prior to submittal
- Train and develop the Project team and schedule project resources
Profile
- 5+ years of construction experience
- Strong background in Commercial Construction
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The desire to grow their career professionally
- The desire to drive the growth of a highly reputable General Contractor
- The desire to mentor some of the younger Project Managers
- Strong track record with client relationships
