Description
As the Assistant Project Manager, you will:
- Support the Project Manager in coordinating all phases of assigned construction projects from planning through close-out.
- Assist in developing project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring project timelines are met.
- Manage subcontractors, including scheduling, oversight, and coordination of their activities on-site.
- Track project budgets, monitor expenses, and assist in maintaining financial controls.
- Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFI logs, submittals, and change orders.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications are upheld.
- Address project challenges and resolve issues in a timely, efficient manner.
- Collaborate with the project team on risk management and problem-solving to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Profile
The Assistant Project Manager will have:
- 0-2+ years of experience in the Construction Industry, preferably experience with lab/life science or haelthcare projects
- Demonstrates readiness for listed responsibilities
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- Experience with Procore and/or other construction industry softwares
