Description

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and the sales team to build trust and drive the strategic growth plan.

• Oversee the 'order to cash' process (order entry and invoicing) and optimize integration of systems and technology for all domestic, international, and transfer orders.

• Ensure products are delivered on-time and in full to meet customer expectations, managing OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance for key accounts.

• Handle customer allocations as required and act as a key liaison between sales and operations planning teams.

• Manage customer complaints and returns, working to resolve issues efficiently and maintain high customer satisfaction.

• Oversee the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) for transportation, warehousing, and customer service, ensuring that customer expectations are met.

• Optimize and streamline logistics processes for domestic and international shipping, including transfer orders of raw materials, packaging, and ingredients.

• Leverage EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integrations to improve operational efficiency across the supply chain.

• Act as the logistics 'key user' for NetSuite and other logistics optimization systems.

• Manage transportation and warehouse tenders, ensuring service efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Support and optimize inventory management at third-party logistics (3PL) operations.

• Lead the development and implementation of the cost-to-serve model, recommending shipping methods and carrier routing to meet customer delivery schedules and cost goals.

• Optimize storage and delivery of packaging and ingredients from warehouse partners to contract manufacturers.

• Provide support during financial audits of inventory and 3PL operations.

• Assist the Logistics team in the annual business planning process.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics and customer service, including experience with negotiating, budgeting, and implementing new systems and WHSE locations.
• Prior experience working with co-packers and contract manufacturers.
• Advanced MS Excel
• Experience working with EDI and NetSuite.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent judgment, escalate issues when needed, and provide problem-solving support.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure proper follow-through.
