Superintendent - K-12 Construction - Washington, DC
Our client is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead various high-value projects across the DMV area. This role requires an experienced leader who can handle subcontractors, ensure compliance with safety standards, and drive project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with projects in the healthcare, affordable housing, higher-ed, K-12, recreation, multifamily, and office sectors, specifically within the $20-40 million range.

Description
- Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality, and safety standards.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA 30 requirements and company safety protocols.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.
- Oversee site logistics, schedule planning, and resource management to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct inspections, ensure quality control, and enforce compliance with all project specifications.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a background in general contracting. They will have hands-on experience managing large-scale projects in diverse sectors and an ability to handle subcontractor coordination. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards are essential. Candidates must have OSHA 30 certification and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to project.
