Our Client is a national General contractor who has been in the building and construction industry for over 60 years bringing in an annual revenue of $100M per year. They are a multidisciplinary both in commercial and multifamily projects. Right now they are looking for a Project Engineer - Multifamily Construction who can learn and grow within the company.

Description

reporting to the Project Manager the Project Engineer - Multifamily Construction is responsible for:

• Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
• Maintain and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
• Monitor project progress, tracking milestones, timelines, and budgets to ensure the project stays on schedule and within financial parameters.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across all project stakeholders.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Provide support with cost estimation, helping to track material, labor, and equipment expenses.
• Prepare and present status reports for the project manager, highlighting potential issues, risks, and opportunities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any project challenges or conflicts that arise, minimizing delays or disruptions.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.

Profile

An ideal Candidate for Project Engineer - Multifamily Construction role would be:

• Proven experience within the Building and Construction space
• Relevant degree in a building and construction field
• 2+ years of expereice in building and construction
