Description
The Superintendent - Occupied Healthcare Interiors - Richmond, VA will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily operations of hospital renovation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations in occupied spaces.
- Leading and managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with hospital-specific regulations and safety standards.
- Ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Coordinating with the project manager, clients, and internal teams to ensure all milestones are met.
- Ensuring strong communication with all hospital staff and ensure professionalism when working in sensitive areas like ICUs and birthing units.
Profile
The Superintendent - Occupied Healthcare Interiors - Richmond, VA will have:
- Must have experience working in occupied hospital spaces (preferably interior renovations).
- At least 3 years of experience in interior hospital renovation projects.
- Strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to work professionally in hospital settings, including ICUs, birthing units, and other critical environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with an ability to manage multiple teams and maintain quality control.
- Experience with hospital renovation projects in the Richmond, Culpeper, and Fredericksburg areas is ideal
Job Offer
The Superintendent - Occupied Healthcare Interiors - Richmond, VA will receive:
- Health insurance: Coverage starts on day 1, covering some of premiums (dental/vision offered as an option).
- HSA: Eligible from day 1
- $1,000 car allowance (with the expectation to use the vehicle for picking up materials as needed)
- 2-3 weeks of PTO, with additional days based on tenure.
- 7 holidays per year.
- Option to cover dependents.
