Client Details
Our client is an Ohio-based Design-Build General Contractor with a major data center project set to break ground in the near future. They are seeking a driven Project Manager who is eager to grow and advance alongside the company's extensive resources and expertise. Description
- Manage on-site construction activities, including schedule oversight, cost control, quality assurance, safety compliance, and project closeout.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors while facilitating project meetings and communications.
- Review contract documents, perform constructability and value engineering analyses, and ensure adherence to company and client policies.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, maintain project documentation, manage submittals, RFIs, pay applications, and change orders, and assist with field problem resolution.
- Oversee inspections, as-built documentation, and compile reports while supporting project planning, costing, and schedule updates.
Profile
- 4-year engineering, construction management degree, or equivalent
- 10 or more years' experience as a Project Manager responsible for Profit and Loss of construction required in one or more of the following areas: Hyperscale Datacenters, Complex Industrial Projects, or Large Scale Vertical Construction
- Must be able to apply effective management techniques to maximize project performance.
- Thorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities is essential.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills.
- Must have previous experience managing construction projects on large, complex and on multiple projects, scheduling and maintaining financial control of the project.
