The Director of Operations will be instrumental in overseeing the strategic planning and execution of manufacturing and engineering operations across the production floor. This role requires a strong leader who can drive efficient production processes while ensuring top-tier product quality.

Description
As the Director of Operations, you will report directly into the President and will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations.
- Lead strategic planning for operational initiatives, including capacity planning and process improvements.
- Create and oversee the budget for the plant.
- Manage a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation.
- Track and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.

Profile
A successful Director of Operations should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
- 8+ years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of operational strategies and methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Project Management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- An understanding of quality standards and industry regulations.
