CPG/Luxury Goods Sr. Accountant - Long Island City
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of the organization. You will be responsible for managing financial records, conducting audits, and preparing reports that support our strategic goals. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and international team to contribute to their continued success.
Description
- Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits and assist with external audit preparations.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for business performance improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the luxury goods or jewelry industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with international team members and external partners.
