Sr. Project Manager - Education & Multifamily Construction
One of Wisconsin's premier mid-sized construction firms is seeking a senior project manager to join their team. In this role you will be leading teams of project managers on large-scale builds encompassing the multifamily, education, and commercial sectors. Description
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for $15M+ commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage project budgets, cost controls, cash flow, and forecasting to protect margins and ensure financial performance
- Lead contract administration, including scope definition, change management, and risk mitigation strategies
- Oversee project schedules and collaborate with superintendents to align field execution with project milestones
- Direct subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and buyout to ensure value, compliance, and performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants, driving clear communication and issue resolution
- Mentor project engineers and assistant project managers, promoting professional development and team accountability
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle
Profile
- Track record of delivering multifamily or commercial projects valued at $10M+
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with key preconstruction concepts in order to collaborate with estimating team
- Excllent client-relationship skills
- Passion for construction
Job Offer
- Strong base salary of $130,000 to $150,000 dependent on qualifications
