Material Planning Manager

The Material Planning Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the short-to-medium-term production schedule, ensuring adequate materials are available to support manufacturing. This cross-functional role will collaborate across supply chain, procurement, production, and quality to optimize material flow, maintain ERP accuracy, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Description

• Create and manage production schedules and material plans
• Analyze MRP outputs and convert into purchase and production orders
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages
• Maintain accurate BOMs, routings, and item data in ERP
• Communicate material risks and align cross-functional teams
• Identify slow-moving inventory and help develop mitigation plans
• Drive reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

Profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in CPG manufacturing or food production
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• ERP experience (preferably Microsoft D365)
• Certifications such as CPIM or CSCP a plus
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
