Accounting Manager

Description

• Oversee core accounting areas such as debt, inventory, SG&A, and treasury-related items

• Manage and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial variance analyses across multiple entities

• Support internal and external reporting, audits, and SOX compliance

• Partner cross-functionally to improve the close process, data accuracy, and financial systems

• Mentor junior staff and contribute to broader accounting initiatives and process improvements

Profile

• 6-9 years of experience, ideally combining public accounting and corporate roles at a public company

• CPA designation strongly preferred

• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and complex areas like debt and SG&A

• Experienced in managing close processes and working across multiple entities

• Skilled in mentoring junior staff and improving accounting systems and workflows
