Test Engineer - Aerospace/Defense- Melbourne, FL
The Test Engineer will support production test equipment through a mix of hardware design, software development, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on maintaining and improving automated test stations, reducing false failures and downtime, and expanding test coverage to support customer requirements in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and modify circuit board layouts for new and existing test stations
- Support production through failure analysis, test debugging, and root cause investigations
- Drive test improvement initiatives including automation, coverage expansion, and cycle time reduction
- Develop and maintain test documentation from concept through production release
- Analyze test data and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and customers
- Participate in capital equipment reviews and test capacity planning
- Support calibration, configuration management, and maintenance of test equipment
- Train production operators and technicians on new or updated test procedures
- Maintain compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and internal quality standards
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of Test Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with automated test equipment, fixture design, and test debugging
- Working knowledge of Altium Designer and test software development
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 quality standards
- Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills
- U.S. Person status required
