Quality Engineer- Aerospace
This Quality Engineer role ensures that highly specialized aerospace hardware meets the strictest internal and external quality standards. You'll drive continuous improvement, support engineering and manufacturing teams, and own key compliance processes across the organization.

Description
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure designs and fabrication align with approved data and customer quality requirements.
- Create, maintain, and improve procedures, quality documentation, and customer‑mandated deliverables.
- Develop and deliver training materials to onboard team members in quality processes.
- Review and enhance systems and processes to maintain and elevate quality standards.
- Work independently to drive quality initiatives and support cross‑functional teams.
- Oversee vendor adherence to quality flow‑downs and communicate requirements clearly.
- Analyze and implement quality control systems, ensuring robust evaluation and compliance.
- Perform detailed part inspections using various measurement tools and equipment.
Profile
- Solid understanding of AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
- Experience using CMM and other precision inspection tools.
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
- Self‑driven, organized, and capable of multitasking with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team‑focused mindset.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
