Description

As the Automation Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation systems to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Managing design and development of equipment and tools.
  • Driving continuous improvement in finding ways to save cost and drive efficiencies.
  • Oversee a team of engineers and technicians to ensure project goals are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement through automation.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for automation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Profile

A successful Automation Engineering Manager should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a product and process development environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading individuals.
  • A strong background in engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing automation systems.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
