Assistant Project Manager-Multifamily Construction-Oakton,VA

Our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their growing team. This individual will bring 2-3 years of multifamily construction experience, with a strong background in submittals, RFIs, and contract management. A degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory, as the client is open to candidates with the right experience.

Description

• Support the Senior Project Manager (SPM) with day-to-day project activities across 2 out of 3 upcoming multifamily projects.
• Work on projects including a 94-unit, 6-story multifamily unit in Arlington, VA, an 88-unit, 7-story building in Reston, VA, and a 275-unit multifamily unit in Bowie, MD.
• Handle submittals, RFIs, and contract documentation, ensuring timely delivery and smooth project execution.
• Manage administrative tasks, such as organizing project files and preparing project schedules.
• Travel to project sites as needed, based out of the Oakton, VA office.

Profile

• 2-3 years of multifamily construction experience, with the ability to handle submittals, RFIs, and contracts independently.
• A degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Offer

• Base salary of $85K - $95K, with car allowance (ranging from $300 - $400/month).
