Superintendent - Multifamily Construction (Developer)
We're seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of a 400+ unit, $100M+ ground-up project in North Jersey. This role requires proven leadership in large-scale multifamily construction, overseeing all field operations from start to finish to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

We are a nationally recognized real estate development firm specializing in high-end multifamily residential projects across major U.S. markets. With a portfolio exceeding $5B in assets, we pride ourselves on thoughtful design, integrated project delivery, and enduring value. We are currently seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for a landmark $100M+ luxury multifamily development in Northern New Jersey.
Description
- Manage all field activities for the project from groundbreaking through turnover.
- Ensure all construction work complies with plans, specs, schedules, and safety standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, vendors, and site logistics.
- Lead daily job site meetings and maintain a constant field presence.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, design team, and ownership to resolve issues in real time.
- Maintain detailed daily logs, safety documentation, and site reports.
- Ensure quality control at all stages of construction.
- Anticipate potential schedule delays or issues and proactively implement solutions.
- Monitor material deliveries and manage site inventory.
- Uphold and enforce strict site safety standards in compliance with OSHA and company policy.

Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in multifamily residential construction, with at least one project valued at $75M+ in a lead superintendent role.
- Experience in high-end/luxury multifamily, mixed-use, or hospitality projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, safety regulations, and field engineering.
- Experience working on design-build or developer-led projects a strong plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex construction schedules and subcontractor coordination.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).
- OSHA 30-hour certification required.
Job Offer
- Base salary ranging from $140,000 to $170,000 annually.
- $500 monthly car allowance.
- Guaranteed annual bonus of 15-20% included in the offer.
