Description
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of public construction projects, primarily with the School Construction Authority (SCA) and other city agencies. This role is key to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage the full lifecycle of public construction projects, from pre-construction through to project closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.
- Oversee the work of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with contract terms, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, particularly with SCA requirements.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, particularly in managing SCA or public sector projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgets, contracts, and scheduling software.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- A solutions-oriented mindset with a keen focus on quality and safety.
