Director of Facilities

We're seeking a Director of Facilities with a strong background in property management, capable of overseeing all building-related activities. This position ensures the smooth operation of our facilities, focusing on safety, efficiency, and maintaining the high standards of our properties.

Description

• Lead all CAPEX for a sizable portfolio
• Oversee all facility operations ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
• Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
• Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
• Supervise all staff facilities staff and external contractors.
• Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.

Profile

A successful Director of Facilities should have:

• LIHTC experience
• Strong CAPEX experience
• Excellent knowledge of property management and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Good analytical/critical thinking.
• BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field.
