Superintendent - Top 200 ENR GC-Large Commercial Construction

My client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale federal government construction projects in the D.C. Metro Area. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from pre-construction planning to project completion, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

My client is a leading general contractor in the Washington D.C. Metro Area, specializing in large-scale construction projects for the federal government and commercial clients. As a top 400 ENR contractor, they pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and excellence

This client specializes in interior renovations and floor build out for corporate offices, universities/schools, government facilities, labs, data centers, and other commercial buildings in various industries. Description

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
    • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met.
    • Manage and supervise on-site construction teams, ensuring that work is being done safely and according to plans and specifications.
    • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that deadlines are met.
    • Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and other project documentation as required.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.

Profile

  • Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years of experience managing large-scale federal government projects.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
