The successful IT Automation Engineer / Network Administrator candidate will be responsible for IT systems & network administration experience in a windows environment, along with a strong background in the manufacturing industry with PLC experience.

Description
The successful IT Automation Engineer / Network Administrator candidate systems & network administration experience in a windows environment, along with a strong background in the manufacturing industry with PLC experience. You will be required to:
- Troubleshoot communications protocols to include Ethernet TCP/IP, ASI-NET, ProfiBus DP, Ethernet / IP, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP
- Identify hardware / software interface problems through knowledge of above systems
- Manage and develop PLC install base to include troubleshooting existing code and development of new control strategies to meet internal customer requirements
- Manage and develop HMI software applications based on Wonderware and / or PanelView platforms
Profile
The successful IT Automation Engineer / Network Administrator candidate will be responsible for IT systems & network administration experience in a windows environment, along with a strong background in the manufacturing industry with PLC experience.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science or Equivalent; or
- 4+ years professional experience
- Familiarity with Windows Domain environments
- Working knowledge of Ethernet device network connectivity and integration
- Working knowledge of Rockwell PLCs to include SLC500, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, ControlLogix and applicable configuration software
- Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PanelView HMIs for configuration and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
- Great communication
