Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of property construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and preparing cost estimates for construction projects.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to develop project plans.
• Conduct risk analysis to identify potential project cost overruns.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide cost advice and support to project teams.
• Prepare and present cost reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest construction methods and materials.

Profile

A successful 'Senior Estimator' should have:

• High-rise, ground up construction experience is ESSENTIAL to this role
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
