Client Details

This well known general contractor has offices across the US and has a strong pressence in the South Florida market in commercial construction work. They specialize in projects typically up to $15M+ in the commercial sector such as grocery stores, storage/ warehouses, office, retail, tenant improvement/ site improvement, etc. They are seeking a Senior Estimator who are looking to take the next step in their career.

Description

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and addenda to determine scope and cost.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Lead pre-construction meetings and provide input on value engineering and risk assessment.
• Stay current with market trends, material costs, and industry best practices.

Profile

• 3-7+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and materials.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
