Principal UX Designer
This role specializes in information architecture and UX for web projects, including wireframing and user mapping, primarily for government and health care sites, with minimal branding, before handing off to a visual designer.
Client Details
Work for a digital agency specializing in user experience design, digital transformation, and web development right in the heart of NYC. The business focus is to create user centered solutions for a range of clients across different verticals(ex: government, healthcare).
Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Information Architecture: Develop wireframes, user journeys, and overall information architecture for web projects.
- UX Design: Focus on UX for government, state, and healthcare websites, including website upgrades and minor branding.
- Collaboration: Provide IA designs to visual designers and use tools like Figma, Photoshop, Miro, Illustrator, and project management software for tickets.
Profile
A successful candidate will have the following:
- Specialize in Information Architecture: Create wireframes and user journeys for web projects.
- Focus on UX: Design for government, state, and healthcare sites with some branding experience.
- Be Proficient with Tools: Use Figma, Photoshop, Miro, Illustrator, and project management software.
- Collaborate Well: Work effectively with visual designers and handle design hand-offs.
- Handle being hands on on the information architecture UX side
Job Offer
Ability to be placed on a long-term contract, and be hired immediately for a high level UX Designer role.
