Director of Operations- Civil Construction- NWA
The Director of Operations will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the Company, ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to foster relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Description
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, supervisors, and field personnel
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee HR-related procedures, including recruitment, promotions, termination, and salary negotiations
- Direct, review, and manage daily operations and estimating, project management, and field operations staff, focusing on safety, quality, and profitability
- Effectively interpret operations staffing needs and communicate gaps to senior management
- Establish, communicate, and evaluate progress toward field goals and benchmarks
- Oversee equipment purchases and maintenance expenses
- Monitor and update the global project schedule, managing labor and equipment resources.
- Assisting COO with corporate initiatives as needed
Profile
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and a 'will to win' attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, MS Projects, and HCSS Software)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of business principles and financial management
- Effective communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A strong knowledge of construction concepts, scheduling, project planning, and customer relations is required.
