Project Manager - Electromechanical - Nashville, TN

I am looking for a highly technical and experienced Project Manager to join my client's Engineering & Manufacturing team in the electromechanical industry near Nashville, TN. You should be well-versed in electrical engineering, project management methodologies, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for operational efficiency.

Description

Reporting Directly into the PMO Department Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear manner.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Manage the relationship with all stakeholders and perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Report and escalate issues to management as needed.

Profile

A successful Project Manager will have:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree will be considered
• 3-5 years of proven work experience in project management in the electrical engineering industry.
• Cable harness project/design experience.
• Leadership skills that can be applied to effective cross functional team collaboration.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Ability to travel internationally frequently.
