Description
The Product Development Engineer will manage the full product lifecycle for surgical instruments supporting spinal implants. This includes design, customization, regulatory compliance, and surgeon collaboration to ensure optimal usability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development of instrument systems for the medical industry.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance product usability and workflow efficiency.
- Oversee testing, validation, and regulatory documentation for product approval.
Profile
The Product Development Engineer will have extensive experience in instrument development, strong CAD and design control expertise, and proven ability to work directly with clients. They should excel in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
- 5+ years in medical device development.
- Proficiency in CAD, GD&T, and regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO).
